CGC Sheetrock Brand UltraLight Panel Firecode X is made with an innovative engineered composite design which makes it the industry’s first and lightest Type X gypsum panel. These panels have been formulated to achieve all of the strength and performance characteristics of standard 5/8 inch gypsum panels, at a significantly reduced weight. This is the perfect product to finish interior walls and ceilings that require additional fire-resistance over regular gypsum board. They are easy to cut and install quickly, permitting painting or other decorative finishing.
